06:00 AM – Hotel Pick Up & Transfer to Nairobi National Park Your driver-guide will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel/residence. After a short briefing, drive to Nairobi National Park, located just a few kilometers from the city center.
06:30 AM – 10:30 AM – Morning Game Drive in Nairobi National Park
Enter the park as it opens and enjoy a morning safari drive. This is the best time to spot wildlife when they are most active. Expect to see lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, buffalos, antelopes, and a variety of bird species, all with the Nairobi city skyline in the background.
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM – Exit Nairobi National Park & Transfer to David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage
After your safari, drive to the nearby David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the world-renowned elephant and rhino orphanage.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Visit Elephant Orphanage Enjoy the public viewing session, where you’ll watch baby elephants being fed and playing in the mud. You’ll also hear about the orphanage’s conservation efforts and how rescued elephants are rehabilitated before being released back into the wild.
12:00 PM – 01:00 PM – Lunch Break
Head to a nearby restaurant for a relaxing lunch.
01:30 PM – 03:00 PM – Giraffe Centre Visit
Drive to the Giraffe Centre in Karen, home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. Here you can feed and interact with the giraffes from an elevated platform, learn about conservation efforts, and take stunning photos.
03:00 PM – 04:00 PM – Optional Stop: Kazuri Beads
Women’s Factory If time allows, visit Kazuri Beads (a social enterprise producing handmade jewelry and ceramics)
04:00 PM – 05:00 PM – Drive Back & Drop Off at Hotel/Residence
